Again, two answers for Wordle? Twice this week, players received outcomes that were mixed. See all other instances.

If you have played Wordle for a sufficient amount of time, you have likely seen a daily problem with two answers.

This week, the event occurred twice.

The New York Times reported on Tuesday that the answer to Wordle 325 consisted of two distinct words, a day after players encountered a similar dilemma due to a "significant recent news event."

Since The New York Times announced its acquisition of Wordle in the wake of the game's spectacular rise, there have been a number of modifications, the majority of which have centered on the five-letter words players must properly predict.

In many instances, the original Wordle response has been replaced with a different word, leaving many players confused.

Here are some instances where Wordle provided multiple correct results.

The terms AGORA and AROMA In February, the same month that The New York Times announced its acquisition of Wordle, "agora" and "aroma" were displayed as the correct responses.

The newspaper informed CNN that it has deleted challenging or potentially unpleasant or insulting language. Although terms such as "agora" and "wench" would not appear as solutions, they might still be entered as possible guesses.

The pair STOVE and HARRY On March 30, the majority of players correctly guessed "stove" for the Wordle. However, several players also chose "Harry" correctly.

"harry" is defined by Merriam-Webster as "to make a pillaging or damaging raid against" or "to force to move along by pestering." Wordle has chosen this definition as the answer.

The New York Times altered the answer in an effort to eliminate obscure or inappropriate terms from the game.

FETUS and LIGHT On Monday, the majority of wordle unlimited players guessed "shine" as the correct answer, but a few others guessed "fetus." The New York Times stated in a statement that it altered the response because it appeared "closely related to a major recent news event."

A leaked draft judgment from the Supreme Court last week suggested that justices may reverse the landmark Roe v. Wade decision.

The New York Times Games stated, "This is entirely coincidental and unplanned; today's original answer was loaded into Wordle last year."

BUTCH vs GECKO Several players experienced déjà vu on Tuesday after The New York Times revealed that Wordle once again had two solutions. While some players correctly answered "butch," those who refreshed their games received the correct response of "gecko."
